The lush lime green leaves recently gave way to a beautiful crescendo of crisp white flowers which carpeted the woodland floor like a big fluffy duvet. It’s my favourite time of year, watching the season unfolding and observing the change not just in the emerging flora but the birds are now super active and up about 4.30am singing their hearts out, getting ready to feed their hungry broods. The second row down show the garlic leading down to the cottage, along that valley is a huge badger set and one day, if I’m brave enough, I’d like to silently sit and watch these incredible beasts.
