I am so delighted to finally be able say that my website is now launched! It has been one of those things that you get terribly hung up and precious about how you want it to look and after 2.5 years I finally realised I just needed to get it out there! A good friend of mine from University came to my rescue and within a few months we’ve brought it together and so I’m thrilled, huge thanks to Paul at www.diablodesign.co.uk. It incorporates not just my garden photography but also a few other areas that I haven’t really publicised until now. I have a keen personal interest in the ‘Makers & Creators’ around the valleys where I live and beyond, which is lovely to finally share. I intend to keep capturing these amazingly skilled people and in time will share a shoot that I did with Gaynor Thorp, an intricate weaver who lives in the Forest of Dean.
More recently I’ve had the great pleasure of working with a hugely inspiring designer and friend Nicola Harding. Her work is stylish and incredibly fun, playing with the old and new, her unique style truly sets her apart. I love the old pieces of furniture that she throws into the mix as well as the beautiful fabrics, whether they are vintage or new, which she uses to reupholster a client’s favourite arm-chair or sofa. She has such a wonderful imagination and vision for the most tiniest of settings and can completely restyle to give a settled in look using old books, lamps and bundles of detail, it’s just the simple honest touches that give each room it’s sense of comfort and individuality.
I have thoroughly enjoyed capturing her interior work in and around London, more recently have had the pleasure of photographing some of the Bel & The Dragon establishments around Surrey and Berkshire, which have been extraordinary and I hope to share these very soon.
Now that my blog is incorporated into my website, it would be great if you could use the link to re-follow me.
I hope you enjoy browsing through my new website!
